MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
This organization was formed in August of 2004 by a group of concerned business men at the Villeneuve Airport. We felt it was time to step up to the plate and get involved with the operation and decisions that will affect this airport now and long into the future. As a united group we feel that we can provide guidance and input that will assure our future and the future of general aviation at the Villeneuve Airport.

Since our inception, we have met with the Edmonton Regional Airport Authority personnel and members of the local government. A dialogue has begun that is both insightful and productive. As president of VAOOA, I am very excited about our huge growth potential and about the way the ERAA is working with our group. Many great things will be happening at Villeneuve in 2005. September 16th, 2006 - Villeneuve Airport Fly-In
You and your family are invited to attend an open house and barbeque hosted by Edmonton Airports at the Villeneuve Airport on September 16th 2006 from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. The event is hosted by Edmonton Airports (ie free!) but donations will be accepted on behalf of Hope Air, a charitable organization that arranges free flights Canadians who must fly to seek medical treatment and are in financial need.
